What’s the best way to find homes “for sale” to view?
If you are looking for homes for sale, the best place to look is on a site that specializes in the area in which you are looking. Realtor.com for example is a great site with hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of homes for sale. But do you really want to filter through that many homes when there are only a handful of homes that apply to you? I always recommend www.BrightHomesUtah.com for browsing the local homes for sale. Aside from the featured homes, I show you every home for sale along the Wasatch Front and make it very easy to filter to just the homes you need. Another great resource is www.UtahRealEstate.com. This is the "public" version of the MLS that all the agents along the Wasatch Front use. It has great integrated map searches and more. Those two resources cover 99% of the homes listed for sale in the Salt Lake area. The other ten-thousand sites online that have utah homes will cover the remaining 1%. But that is an awful lot of websites for such a small percentage.
